Rooted

Behold the tree, firmly planted in the earth , drawing strength from the stores there in. When heaven weeps the forest drinks and shares their burden

See how he labors to grow; dividing cell and elongating twig, yet not for vanity’s sake, but strains with fiber and cell  against the storm to reach heavenward - knowing that he emerged from the dust of the ground but that is not from whence he came.

He endeavors daily to sojourn home and reside with his maker.
